We fit Paint Protection Film (PPF) for car owners across Greater Manchester and the North West from our workshop in Rochdale. PPF is a clear protective film applied to your paintwork to guard against stone chips, scratches, and everyday road wear. Done properly, the edges are barely visible and the finish still looks like your car, not like it’s wearing a jacket.
We work from a dedicated specialist workshop at Unit 30, Caldershaw Business Centre, Ings Lane, Rochdale. Every fitment is carried out by our own technicians, and we offer both full-vehicle PPF and partial coverage on the areas that take the most punishment: front bumper, bonnet, wing mirrors, door edges.

A good PPF job comes down to two things: the film, and whoever’s fitting it. We work with film tested for clarity, durability, and resistance to yellowing over time. We also take the time to get the cut and edges right, so you’re not left with visible lines or lifting corners a few months down the line.
We fit a lot of performance and prestige cars, from AMGs to RS models and plenty in between. On those, edge finishing matters more than most people realise. A rushed job shows. We’d rather take the extra half hour and get it right first time.
What PPF actually does
Stone chips, grit kicked up off the road, light scratches from car washes: PPF takes that damage instead of your paint. Most of the film we use also has self-healing properties: light marks and fine scratches can disappear on their own with a bit of heat (direct sun or warm water), so you’re not polishing out swirl marks every few months.
Whether full coverage or partial makes sense depends on the car and how you use it. If you’re not sure which is right for yours, ask us before you book. We’d rather talk you through the options than sell you more than you need.
We’re also known for our tinting and wheel work (see our light tints), but PPF is a core part of what we do, not an add-on.
Security upgrades alongside PPF
A lot of customers come in for paint protection and leave having sorted their security too. It’s easier to do both in one visit than two. We fit the Autowatch Ghost immobiliser alongside a range of trackers, including the Meta Trak S5 VTS Deadlock for owners who want strong recovery and prevention in one system.
We also fit the SmarTrack Protector Pro Global, starlight headliners, vehicle alarms and reverse cameras, including Thatcham-approved systems. If your insurer requires a specific accreditation, tell us before booking and we’ll make sure whatever we fit qualifies.
Who does PPF installation near Rochdale?
Car Specialist Customs fits Paint Protection Film from our workshop in Rochdale, covering Greater Manchester and the wider North West.
Where’s the workshop?
Unit 30, Caldershaw Business Centre, Ings Lane, Rochdale. We get customers travelling in from across Manchester, Oldham, Bury and beyond.
What else do you do, besides PPF?
Window tinting, ghost immobilisers, and vehicle trackers are the other big three. We also fit security devices like the Meta Trak Shield and Meta Trak S7 ATS, plus styling upgrades.
Protecting your car’s value

PPF pays for itself more often than people expect. A car with unmarked paint on the front end is a stronger sell than one peppered with stone chips, and it tells a buyer the car’s been looked after.
We can help with security too, with options like the Meta Trak S5 VTS and SmarTrack S5 iMob. If you want to see everything we offer in one place, our shop has the full range, from a subtle styling tweak to a full security setup like the SmarTrack S5 D-ID.
